JJ Spaun remained atop the leaderboard of the halfway mark of this year's US Open.  His odds were expected to be slashed at sportsbooks and PPH platforms across the board heading into Saturday.

Day 2 of US Open Golf continued with Spaun enjoying quite the start to this tournament.

Spaun was the only player yet to card a bogey, but finally dropped a shot after missing the green at the par-four third hole to fall into a three-way share of the lead.

Day 1 witnessed Spaun hit eight of 14 fairways and 12 of 18 greens in regulation, prompting oddsmakers to shift his odds from +12000 to +1200 (eliminating one of those zeroes).

South Africa's Thriston Lawrence provided the biggest challenge for Spaun on Friday.
