Harrah’s Gulf Coast casino in Biloxi paid out $100,000 on a $5 denomination 5 Play Video Poker machine this past Friday.
A gambler from Ocean Springs, Mississippi bet $125 before finally hitting the jackpot at 1-in-700,000.
The 5 Play Video Poker machine allows playing five hands at once.
The odds for hitting a royal flush on a video poker machine are about 1-in-45,000. In this case, this guest was dealt the royal flush in the initial draw, the odds of which are 1-in-700,000.
Harrah's Gulf Coast casino paid out three jackpots last year totaling $100,000 or more with a $206,250 jackpot on a Million Dollar Dragon Link slot hit back in October.
But one of the casino's biggest jackpots hit back in March with a payout of $615,774 with progressive Three Card Poker jackpot after a player hit a royal flush.
