Brody’s Cause Post Position Draw Nineteen Odds – 2016 Kentucky Derby
Majesto post position draw has him in the number nineteen spot and with 12-1 odds.
The 19 spot has resulted in a single win since 1999.
Dale Romans (trainer) – “At first, I was a little bit disappointed, but after looking at the draw with the speed (Danzing Candy) outside of us, we’ll let him clear. I think it’s going to be all right.”
Brody’s Cause has run the most at Churchill Downs and performed well on the dirt track so he will certainly have an edge in this race.
A multiple Grade I winner with a first-place finish over the Churchill Downs track has topped 90 on the Brisnet Speed Ratings.
“I think speed figures have become one of the biggest jokes in horse racing,” the horse’s trainer, Dale Romans, said Wednesday morning at Churchill Downs.
Romans called Brody’s Cause “as ready as he can be”.
