  • DraftKings Racing is currently available in just nine U.S. states

  • Its standalone app, DK Horse, is still available in additional states but still relatively limited and requires a separate account

  • Alternatives include BetUS, which has been serving the horse racing and sports betting community since 1994 and is available in all U.S. states with an up to $3000 welcome bonus

As popular as DraftKings is, their horse racing app (DraftKings Racing) is currently only available in nine U.S. states.   In these states, users can access directly within the sportsbook app all from a single betting account.

Those states include:

  • Delaware
  • New Mexico
  • Rhode Island
  • Florida
  • Louisiana
  • Montana
  • New Hampshire
  • Ohio
  • Oregon

“DraftKings is committed to delivering the best fan experience across sports, and we’re proud to continue elevating that experience for horse racing with DraftKings Racing,” said Johnny Avello, Director of Race and Sports Operations at DraftKings. “DraftKings Racing is designed for speed and simplicity, offering a seamless and powerful way to engage with the sport’s biggest moments. By integrating horse racing directly into the DraftKings Sportsbook app, customers can wager across sports in one place — creating a more connected and streamlined experience.”

DraftKings Racing will roll out on a state-by-state basis, with additional jurisdictions expected to go live throughout 2026.

DK Horse will remain available as a standalone app in states where it currently operates and will be phased out as DraftKings Racing is introduced in each jurisdiction.

Here is a current listing of states where DK Horse is NOT available:

  • Alabama
  • Alaska
