Conquest Mo Money Odds to Win Preakness Stakes
Conquest Mo Money had 13-1 early odds of winning the 2017 Preakness Stakes race this May 20.
Conquest Mo Money is seen as a definite contender for this race and fresh, having been passed up for the Kentucky Derby. He finished 2nd in his last start at the all important Arkansas Derby and 2nd in his previous race at the Sunland Derby.
Conquest Mo Money finished first in his only two previous races, both ungraded: The Mine Your Bird Derby and Riley Allison.
The son of Uncle Mo, Conquest Mo Money is owned by Steve Davison and Randy Gullatt of Twin Creeks Racing, located in Versailles, Ky. Trainer Mark Casse previously owned the thoroughbred and will be challenging him with his own entry, Classic Empire (3-1 odds of winning the Preakness Stakes).
Casse told the Albany Times Union he thinks Conquest Mo Money could be a factor in the Preakness by pressuring Always Dreaming with his speed.
"He's a good horse,'' Casse said. "I think if one horse is going to make Always Dreaming run, it'll be him."
