Irish Derby 2011 Betting Odds

The Irish Derby 2011 betting odds have been updated for Friday June 24.  Gambling911.com has your latest odds on Sunday’s big race.

Sir Michael Stoute said of his favored Carlton House: "After an interrupted preparation for Epsom with a foot problem, all has gone swimmingly for the Curragh if the market is to be believed."

As of 24 hours ago there was some uncertainty as to whether Carlton House would be racing in the Derby Sunday.  He has since been confirmed, with betting odds set at near even or 5/4.

The Curragh track's general manager Paul Hensey predicted the ground "on the faster side of good".

'We had 6.7mm of rain on Tuesday, which slowed the ground a notch, but it was a nice bright day today with plenty of wind.

“…..looking at the forecast for the next few days the showers are due to be getting less and less frequent.

“Some rain might pass through on Friday night but I don't think it will be a lot and it might be welcome by that stage, as without it it might be getting a bit quick.'

These odds have not changed in the last 24 hours. “
