What could have been an exciting 2016 Belmont Stakes may be a bit of a dud without the matchup between Kentucky Derby winner Nyquist and Preakness Stakes victor Exaggerator.
The later will be racing as the 10-11 favorite but Nyquist was ruled out shortly after his 3rd place finish at the Preakness Stakes due to a high white cell count.
Southwest Stakes winner Suddenbreakingnews was coming in with the second shortest odds at 4-1.
