The current odds of Term of Art winning the 2017 Preakness Stakes were set at 41-1.
He has two wins in nine career starts and comes into this one having participated in six graded races. Term of Art is trained by Doug O'Neill.
“I know my horse doesn’t have a lot of gate speed, so we’ll be coming off the pace,” said O’Neill, who won the 2012 Preakness with I’ll Have Another. “There should be enough speed, which should help us.”
