The Hell We Did

The Hell We Did will pay out $150 for every $10 bet or $1500 for every $100 bet to win this year's Preakness Stakes race.  He will start from the No. 7 post position.

In 2025, he finished first in his debut, which was a six furlong win at Remington Park in Oklahoma. He followed that up with a second place finish in the New Mexico Zia Park Juvenile stakes.

He finished 2nd in his most recent start at the 2026 Lexington (G3).

Horse trainer Todd Fincher has won multiple stakes type races during his career but is yet to win a Triple Crown.

"To be in this type of race means you have a horse that can compete at a high level and The Hell We Did is improving, working well and I'm hopeful that he runs a great race," Fincher said. "He improved in his last race and he still has room for improvement. He's run well at different tracks and seems to be adjusting well to Laurel Park. To get a win or finish in the top three in a Triple Crown race would be special."

Jockey Luis Saez's success in the Triple Crown comes courtesy of two wins in the Belmont Stakes:

2021 Belmont Stakes — aboard Essential Quality
2024 Belmont Stakes — aboard Dornoch

He also finished first aboard Maximum Security in the  2019 Kentucky Derby, but the horse was disqualified for interference and enjoyed a 2nd place finish on board Bravaz in the 2018 Preakness Stakes.
