Which Horse Betting Apps Are Available in Georgia?

Georgia does not have race tracks and is not exactly accommodating to any of the big name apps.  Horse betting sites accessible from the state include BetUS, which has actually been taking bets from Georgia residents 18 and up for 30 years now.

Fierceness Favored

As of Friday night, less than 24 hours before the horses come out of their gates, Fierceness was coming in at +225 odds for a payout of $225 on every $100 bet.

He's the winner of the Florida Derby, which has produced the most Kentucky Derby winners of any prep race, 25 to be exact.

Best of all, he's being ridden by John Velazquez.

He's a three-time winner of the Kentucky Derby, most entering this year's race.

There is a chance of showers Saturday afternoon.  Back in August in Saratoga, Fierceness shook off his competition on a sealed muddy track, extending his lead before being geared down by jockey Jose Ortiz to win by 11+1⁄4 lengths in a time 1:09.56.

Sierra Leone

Sierra Leone has finished first in three of four races and second in the only race he has not won (the Remsen).

Trainer Chad Brown is 0 for 7 in the Derby, with his best finish coming in 2018, when Good Magic finished in second place.

Made in Japan

Japanese bred Forever Young has been sensational, winning all of his races.  Four of those were stake races.

He broke from an unfavorable outside post and lost ground the entire way in the UAE Derby (G2) at Meydan on March 30 , but still pulled off the win.

The problem is no UAE Derby winner has gone on to be victorious in the Kentucky Derby.
