We did well last Sunday backing the Pittsburgh Steelers in their game against the LA Rams. The Steelers will host the Jaguars with a record of 4-2.  Jacksonville comes into this one 5-2.  Both teams record Against The Spread are identical to their records Straight Up.

Line Moves and Betting Action

The line on this one has moved from -1.5 to -2.5 favoring the road team Jacksonville.  The total has gone from 41 to 42 and back a bit to 41.5.  Action on both the spread and total was pretty balanced.  Sagarin gives us a number of 0.24 Jacksonville, suggesting a 1 to 2 point overlay.

Jaguars-Steelers Betting Info

Jaguars beat the Saints 31-24 while the Steelers beat Los Angeles Rams 24-17.

Jaguars likely get back WR Zay Jones (knee) so less attention will be on WR Calvin Ridley, who has thus far disappointed with 40 yards receiving or fewer in five of seven games this season. Ridley is slightly favored to have UNDER 52.5 receiving yards in this game.

Pittsburgh WR George Pickens has at least three receptions in every game and his 18.5 yards per catch is second in the league.

The Steelers are 44-20 in October since Mike Tomlin became head coach in 2007. That’s the third-highest winning rate in October in the NFL over that span.
