OAKLAND PARK, Fla. (Gambling911.com) - Talk about a redistricting epic fail here in Florida with early voting about to commence this Monday October 19. Jared Moskowitz wasn't supposed to win in the newly configured 25th Congressional District, but here he is the -500 favorite.

Jared Moskowitz effectively lost his old congressional district through Florida's 2026 redistricting, and the new district he is running in was initially designed to favor Republicans.
Moskowitz currently represents Florida's 23rd Congressional District, but Republicans redrew the map in May 2026.
The primary cities and municipalities located within the district include:
• Boca Raton
• Coconut Creek
• Coral Springs
• Deerfield Beach (most)
• Fort Lauderdale (parts of the city)
• Margate
• Pompano Beach (parts of the city)
The changes placed Moskowitz and fellow Democrat Debbie Wasserman Schultz in the same district. Rather than challenge her, Moskowitz decided to run in the newly configured 25th Congressional District.
The district he's now running in encompasses a coastal stretch from Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade counties. Donald Trump would have defeated Kamala Harris by approximately 54% to 45% in 2024. So to say FL-25 should favor the GOP is a bit of an understatement.
Moskowitz signage is everywhere here in Broward County as he faces Republican Scott Singer, the former Boca Raton mayor.
Inside Elections rated the congressional race a Toss-up in August.
BetOnline had Moskowitz a -325 favorite, which suggested a strong lean towards the Democrats.
This weekend BetOnline shifted his odds dramatically towards "lock" status, -500, after initially moving to -400.
Singer now pays close to $400 for every $100 bet for those of you thinking BetOnline might be wrong.
