ATLANTA - (Gambling911.com) - Former NFL player Kroy Biermann has been ordered by a Georgia court to pay $64,000 stemming from a gambling debt, all while his 15-year-old son was released on bond in a serious sexual battery case.
The 41-year-old, who played for the Atlanta Falcons and Buffalo Bills, faces the financial judgment after defaulting on a line of credit from a 2021 trip to the Bahamas, according to documents obtained by Us Weekly. Sky Warrior, the company that handles credit lines for the Baha Mar Casino, was awarded $52,500 plus interest and $11,927.35 in legal fees.
Biermann, who is the estranged husband of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kim Zolciak, was served the post-judgment order at his home Aug. 28.
Biermann's son, KJ Biermann, has made headlines this month after seven felony charges were filed against him stemming from an alleged sexual assault involving a female classmate. The teen’s lawyer called the case “so traumatizing to [KJ] personally.”
Deputy District Attorney Caitlin McGillicuddy, citing “documented physical injury” in what she labeled the “predatory” sexual battery and sodomy case, asked that bond be set at $190,000.
KJ Biermann is charged with aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, false imprisonment and three counts of sexual battery against a child under 16. Those charges concern an alleged April 23, 2026 encounter with a 15-year-old female acquaintance at a Life Time Fitness in Alpharetta. Authorities allege that he restrained her and forced unwanted sexual activity.

While initially saying she would decide on KJ’s bond by Monday, Judge Leftridge ultimately set KJ’s bond at $200k later the same day — and issued several stipulations for his release, according to court docs obtained by Page Six.
He must stay at Zolciak’s home and attend school virtually, with no allowance for social media of any kind or cellphone use. Additionally, he cannot have direct or indirect contact with the victim or her family or associates as well as no contact with anyone aged 16 or under.
A victim statement read aloud in court asked the judge to “consider [her] safety” when deciding whether to release KJ on bond.
“No matter who these threats came from directly, I cannot just ignore them or assume that nothing will happen,” she wrote in the statement. “I am not only scared for myself anymore; I am scared for my family, too. Members of my family have received emails and phone calls because of this situation.”
“The thought of him being released scares me more than I can put into words,” the statement went on.
Kroy Biermann had an eight-year NFL career primarily as a versatile defensive end and linebacker for the Falcons.
