LeBron James Next Team Odds - Philadelphia 76ers

Highlights

  • Favorites to land Lebron James include the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers.

  • Competitive odds can be found with the Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves, as well as the Golden State Warriors.

  • James’ agent Rich Paul said that only LeBron James knows when that decision will come and that any reports or information being circulated in the media is pure guesswork.

PHILADELPHIA (Gambling911.com) - Speculation continues to run rampant for where NBA superstar LeBron James will ultimately end up.

While the Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers remain favorites among the teams that could land LeBron, other dark horses like Philadelphia, Minnesota and Golden State offer better value for gamblers.  The 76ers, as an example, pay out $500 for every $100 bet should he end up there.

One thing is certain.  Only LeBron knows where he will end up.

James’ agent Rich Paul said that only LeBron James knows when that decision will come and that any reports or information being circulated in the media is pure guesswork.

“I’ll say it again, none of these people know anything. Nobody knows nothing. And I say that respectfully because we haven’t made it to where anybody knows anything,” Paul said. “I think it’s important for people to understand, we’re not making this about attention and a spectacle. It’s not about a decision or anything like that. He has a choice to make. He has a business choice to make. We’re not going to sit here and decide or allow someone else to decide when he makes that decision or that choice. It’s a business choice that he’s making. And I think as an athlete, why is it that an athlete has to rush his choice.”

76ers’ LeBron James Disadvantage May Not Exist After All

If LeBron James was motivated by money this offseason, the Philadelphia 76ers wouldn’t have a shot at him in the free agency market, writes Justin Grasso of The Sixer Sense.

Paul reportedly told player-turned-analyst Kendrick Perkins that when it comes to money to offer, all teams are equal this offseason.

“He said, ‘Perk, listen man, this has nothing to do with money.’ The teams that are at the top of his list, they are all going to pay the same dollar amount,” Perkins said. “He is not asking a team to move anybody that’s contradicting to what they standing for. It’s not about the money. It’s about the fit.”
