SDSU and Florida Atlantic are heading to their first Final Four. These two teams will meet after FAU defeated Kansas State Saturday night and San Diego State beat Creighton by a single point Sunday afternoon.
Gambling911.com had this one early at Aztecs -2. The books mostly opened at that number having SDSU as the -1.5 favorite.
DraftKings followed Gambling911's lead by offering the Aztecs at -2 early on. DraftKings does not take bets from California or Florida residence. Options to place bets from California and Florida include BetUS. A wide variety of prop bets will also be offered.
Tiny Florida Atlantic has made it to the Final Four as a No. 9 seed in only their second NCAA tournament appearance ever.
Alijah Martin scored 17 points, Michael Forrest made four end-of-game free throws that helped pull FAU ahead of third-seeded Kansas State and win the game 79-76 on Saturday in the East Region final.
Along the way, Florida Atlantic has entered into nearly uncharted territory, or at least that occupied by a choice few. They are only the third No. 9 seed ever to make the Final Four, joining 2013 Wichita State and 1979 Penn. They are only the ninth team seeded No. 9 or lower to go this far.
SDSU made some history of their own Sunday, becoming the first Mountain West Conference team to make a Final Four.
