What Will Happen to My Bet if the Marlins-Guardians Game Gets Postponed?
Weather was likely to have an impact in Friday night's game in Cleveland between the Marlins and Guardians.
This one is supposed to get off at 7:10 pm ET and features two teams with winning records, 10-9 for both. Miami has won seven of their last ten while Cleveland has won half of theirs.
We have scattered thunderstorms in the forecast starting two hours prior to game time. But any time around 9 pm and straight into the mid morning, steadier rain is forecast.
Braxton Garrett starts for Miami, which is the +115 underdog here. He is 0-0 with a 3.38 ERA.
Zach Plesac starts for Cleveland, assuming of course this one gets off. He is 1-0 but with a 6.92 ERA.
Plesac has some experience versus Marlins batters. They've hit 9 of 37 at bats. Luis Arraez is the killer here with his .438 average and having gone 4 for 14 against Plesac (.286). The good news for Cleveland perhaps is that none of those four hits were doubles or home runs.
As one might expect, the head-to-head trends are limited here. But Miami is 2-7 in the last nine meetings, which dates back to September 2016.
