McNeese State is making only their fourth appearance in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.  They haven't made it in since 2002.

They beat Nicholls 92-76 on Wednesday to win the Southland Conference tournament.

Wells scored 27 points against Nicholls. He comes into this game with a scoring total of 16.5.

Meanwhile, Gonzaga’s Graham Ike was named Associated Press Honorable Mention All-American.  His score total was also coming in at 16.5 for this game.

Saint Mary's ended Gonzaga's monopoly of WCC Tournament championship with a 69-60 win.

Anton Watson led the Zags with 18 points against Saint Mary's. Ryan Nembhard finished with 13 points and 11 assists.  He comes into the game against McNeese State with an Over/Under 8.5 assists total.
