OAKLAND PARK, Fla (Gambling911.com) - BetOnline has released odds on the first head coach of a Power 4 team to be fired in 2026 and, sitting at the top of that list, Mike Norvell. The payout would be $300 for every $100 bet.
Norvell is the head football coach at Florida State University, a position he has held since the 2020 season. He was previously head coach at Memphis, and has coached for Arizona State, Pittsburgh, Tulsa, and Central Arkansas.
Since we last sent out odds for the first Power 4 coach to be canned this season, there’s been some notable movement around two names.
The first you can probably guess. Bill Belichick’s odds have gone from 8/1 to 7/1 at BetOnline Sports & Casino.
One of Belichick’s former padawans, Bill O’Brien, has also been backed by the bettors as his chances started at 33/1 and are now 22/1.
Scott Satterfield has also seen significant action to being fired first, going from 16/1 to 10/1.
