June 14 Games Outlook

Reds vs. Tigers

This one is intriguing as the total opened a 8.5 and has since moved to 8.  Bovada had this one at 7.5 early on. Great than 60% of the total action was on the Over.  Bookmaker dropped from 8 to 7.5.

Only three of the last ten in this series has gone Over the current total of 8.

Detroit Tigers career statistics vs. Brady Singer are .263 in 80 at bats but with just one home run.

Singer did not factor into the decision in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks with three strikeouts over five innings.

Jack Flaherty (5-6) earned the win against the Cubs on Sunday, allowing two hits and three walks while striking out nine across six scoreless innings.

Flaherty limited the White Sox to one run and four hits over six innings while cruising to a win in his previous start.

He's been outstanding since Mid-May but might also be due for a poor start.

Blue Jays vs. Phillies

The Phillies were seeing greater than 80% action with both the tickets and cash volume. The line has moved from as high as -175 and has dropped to as low as -153.

Bowden Francis allowed four runs in 3 1/3 innings and took the loss against the Twins on Sunday.  He was lit up for seven runs prior to that.

But Bowden was terrific in a no-decision against the Rangers on Tuesday evening, scattering three hits and one walk over five-plus innings of shutout baseball.

Toronto Blue Jays career statistics vs. Cristopher Sanchez are just .204 in 54 at bats with a single home run.

Sanchez allowed two runs on six hits in seven innings in a loss to the Pirates on Sunday.

The Blue Jays have been hot, going 12-3 over their last 15 games.

Take the Blue Jays here +140

June 13 Games Outlook

Rockies vs. Braves

The Under has to be considered here as we've seen the number drop from 9 to 8.5 with greater than 65% of the total action on the Over. Recreational books had dropped to the 8.5.

German Marquez (2-8) allowed four runs on eight hits and struck out three without walking a batter over five innings to take the loss Saturday versus the Mets.  Marquez allowed three of those four runs on solo home runs by Ronny Mauricio, Jared Young and Jeff McNeil.

In 75 appearances against these Braves, Maquez has allowed just four homers, two from Ozzie Albies, who is just .233 on the season.  Granted, the Braves are .347 against him.

Bryce Elder did not factor into the decision Saturday, allowing one run on three hits and no walks over eight innings against San Francisco. He struck out 12.

This is an Over series of late (6-4 using the current number) but Atlanta has failed to score more than 3 runs in six of their last ten games overall.

Take the Under 8.5 Here

We got crushed here as this one went way Over.

June 12 Games Outlook

White Sox @ Astros

We were not seeing the number move up from 7.5 anywhere as of Thursday morning with lopsided 65% or greater action on the Over.  That could change as this is a night game.

PITCHING PROBABLES: White Sox: Davis Martin (2-6, 3.62 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, 48 strikeouts); Astros: Framber Valdez (6-4, 3.07 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, 84 strikeouts)

Chicago White Sox career statistics vs. Framber Valdez are .319 but with just one home run (72 at bats). Chase Meidroth is 2 for 3 against him.

Only one of the last eight in this series has stayed Under this current total.

We'd consider the Under if the books don't move this one to 8 but we're also not inclined to pull the trigger here.

This one did manage to stay Under the total with 7 runs scored.

June 11 Games Outlook

White Sox @ Astros

One has to ask themselves why this number has dropped from Houston Astros -175 to -164 with greater than 70% of the action on Houston.

The White Sox have managed to win four of their last six games overall.  They've split the series versus Houston over their last ten games.

The starting pitchers have little experience against the opposing team.

We're not quite ready to pull the trigger on the White Sox with this one but we're definitely not jumping on the Astros either.

Smart move not to pull the trigger as Astros win 10-2.

Cubs vs. Phillies

We can confirm significant lopsided action on the Over yet some recreational books (as well as DraftKings) had resisted moving to the 9.  A few books have.

Philadelphia Phillies career statistics vs. Ben Brown are a pretty sick .500, but in a limited sampling of just 16 at bats.

Chicago Cubs career statistics vs. Jesus Luzardo are just .155 in 84 at bats.

11 runs were ultimately scored.

June 10 Games Outlook

Marlins @ Pirates

We saw the total at 8.5 earlier and it's dropped to 8.

The Over is seeing greater than 70% with both cash and tickets.

PITCHING PROBABLES: Marlins: Sandy Alcantara (2-7, 7.89 ERA, 1.58 WHIP, 44 strikeouts); Pirates: Mitch Keller (1-8, 4.13 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, 61 strikeouts)

Pittsburgh Pirates career statistics vs. Sandy Alcantara are .260 in 64 at bats with three home runs scored. Adam Frazier scored two of those and he's 7 for 15 against Alcantara.

He was uninvolved in the decision Tuesday after allowing two runs through six innings against the Rockies and gave up six runs in each of his two prior starts.

In 29 at bats, the Marlins have just one hit against Keller.

Miami hasn't scored more than three runs in nine of their last ten and Pittsburgh hasn't been much better.

There is a reason why everyone is on the Over here.  We will be on the Under 8.

This was a nice win for us.

June 9 Games Outlook

Reds @ Guardians

The total on this game was seeing greater than 70% of the action on the Over.

The number has moved from 8.5 to 9, but not at all books.

PITCHING PROBABLES: Reds: Wade Miley (0-0, 18.00 ERA, 3.00 WHIP, zero strikeouts); Guardians: Luis Ortiz (3-6, 4.02 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, 71 strikeouts)

Seven of the last eight in this series have stayed Under the current number.
