The Under 7 on the Phillies vs. Rangers game Friday might has some nice value.  This one dropped from 8.

What We Like

  • Cristopher Sanchez has been a problem for opposing lineups all season, and when I saw he was starting, my initial reaction was to expect a lower-scoring game. He has held lefties to a .160 batting average and .443 OPS this season.  (The Action Network)
  • Merrill Kelly has allowed two runs or fewer in his last three starts against the Phillies. (The Action Network)
  • Philadelphia Phillies career statistics vs. Merrill Kelly are just .235 in 132 at bats with 5 home runs.
  • Nick Castellanos is just 1-for-11 versus Kelly.
  • There was heavy action on the Under, even at 7.  The oddsmakers reacted to this lopsided action.
  • Three of the last four games in this series have seen 7 or fewer runs scored.
  • Some top cappers we like are on the Under here (though at 7.5).
