Quantrill shut out the Royals for six innings in a no-decision Saturday and got roughed up his prior start. Quantrill allowed two runs with six strikeouts over 3 2/3 innings in a no-decision against the Brewers before that.

Freddy Peralta gave up four runs in five innings and picked up a win over the Dodgers on Saturday.

There was heavy Over action in Friday's game. None of the books were coming off the 8 Friday.

Blue Jays vs. Tigers

The Detroit Tigers host the Toronto Blue Jays looking to stop a four-game home slide.

Detroit has a 60-43 record overall and a 32-18 record in home games. The Tigers are 36-11 in games when they did not give up a home run.

Toronto has a 23-25 record on the road and a 60-42 record overall. The Blue Jays have the best team batting average in the AL at .260.

Thursday's game is the fourth meeting between these teams this season.
