A fresh featherweight champ will be crowned at UFC 314 on April 12.
Dana White announced Wednesday night that Ilia Topuria has vacated his title, setting up a title belt showdown between former champion Alexander Volkanovski and rising contender Diego Lopes.
White also confirmed that Michael Chandler vs. Paddy Pimblett will be on the card as the co-main event, while former Bellator bruiser Patricio Pitbull will make his UFC debut against Yair Rodriguez at 314.

Additionally, a welterweight title fight between champion Belal Muhammad and Shavkat Rakhmonov is off once again after the latter suffered an injury.
Jack Della Maddalena will step in as Rakhmonov’s replacement, facing Muhammad in the main event of UFC 315 on May 10 in Montreal.
