OAKLAND PARK, Fla (Gambling911.com) - Gambling911.com has been reporting on staff cuts at the gambling network VSiN in recent days with at least three on-air personalities cut loose or on their way out.

First came The Baseball Betting Show's host Greg Peterson, who announced his contract would not be renewed at the end of this month.
"I was informed over the weekend that effective at the end of the MLB regular season (two weeks from now) my contract with VSIN will not be renewed," Peterson confirmed. "I moved to Vegas in June of 2017 for the a role as an associate producer and had nearly 10 great years with the company."
VSiN has also cut ties with Tyler Shoemaker. He announced the end of his relationship with the gambling network.
"I am officially a free agent. Huge thank you to VSiN for having me contribute for the last 3 years. It’s been a great experience and I’ve made some amazing friends out of it, but I have been officially let go."
On Tuesday, host of the All Systems Go Podcast, Josh Appelbaum, announced he will be leaving the network as well....and not by choice.

Joe Ceraulo (host, Cashing Out), James Coleman (creative services, since 2022), Matt Deutsch (programming, since 2024) are also heading for the door.
It sure doesn't seem as if job security is a guarantee at VSiN.
Vegas Stats & Information Network (VSiN) is an American sports betting radio network and streaming television channel owned by Musburger Media. Founded in 2017 by the family of sportscaster Brent Musburger, VSIN broadcasts from studios at the Circa Resort & Casino and The D, both located on Fremont Street in Las Vegas, Nevada.
VSiN programming is carried via its own website, as well as other over-the-top services. VSiN also syndicates its programming via local regional sports networks and radio stations.
VSiN was originally launched by the Musburger group, founded by Brett Musburger, sold to DraftKings in 2021 for a reported $70 million, and then bought back by Musburger Media in July 2024 for an undisclosed amount. Brian Musburger and Bill Adee took control again.
Barrett Media is now reporting that EVP of Talent and Programming Steve Cohen will also depart the company.
Cohen alerted several staff members with an email Monday evening. Cohen has been with VSiN since 2024. Meanwhile, as cuts continue, Barrett Media has also learned VSiN’s leadership team will change within the next week.
Cohen issued this statement via his LinkedIn page: “My time at VSiN has come to an end. When I left SXM I really wasn’t expecting to work full time again. But VSiN came calling and I’m very happy that they did. I enjoyed my time there and loved working with the VSiN team. Together we achieved record viewership on YouTube TV and record numbers for VSiN Pro subscriptions. Even more importantly, I had a very positive impact on the growth of the talent and production teams, which was relayed to me through countless texts and emails from the staff after they learned I was leaving the company. But with new ownership comes change, and parting ways with them now is the best thing for all parties involved. I’ll look forward to whatever is next for me!”
The incoming owner’s identity remains unknown but speculation is running rampant that Circa Owner Derek Stevens will have some influence over the brand’s future direction. That's probably not a bad thing. Stevens runs some of the most popular casinos in Las Vegas as well as the Circa Survivor NFL contest, and by most accounts he is a beloved figure in the industry.
