NBA Betting Previews February 8
Seven games are 9 games on tap for today in the NBA.
Who's Hot, Who's Not
Warriors vs. Pacers - The Pacers have played well even in two of their three recent losses, where they kept the games close. They will host a Warriors team Thursday night that will be flying in from Philadelphia and is finishing off their road trip. Golden State had a big win in Philadelphia last night.
With the Pacers a -6.5 in this one, there is about a 4-point overlay. It makes sense being that the Warriors are flying in from Philadelphia following a huge win there.
The Warriors are also concluding a 5-game road trip. They have gone 4-1 in their last five.
Golden State has not played bad in back-to-backs but the closest thing we could find to this scenario was a big win in Chicago only to lose by 11 points the next night in Milwaukee.
The main issue here is we have an overlay of 4 for Indiana but they will be missing their best player Tyrese Haliburton.
We can understand the 4-point overlay with a tired Warriors squad, but not with Haliburton out.
Spurs vs. Magic - The Magic played well on their recent road trip and have won four of their last six as a result.
San Antonio played in Miami and lost last night. The line is Magic -10 and we get a number of 9.54 so this one is pretty accurate without even taking into account the Spurs playing last night. They beat the Spurs on the road a few nights ago by 10 points.
T'Wolves @ Bucks - Both teams have been stumbling of late, the Bucks more so. But Milwaukee has been on the road and they have only lost five games at home. And the Timberwolves are not as dangerous on the road.
Kris Middleton and Brook Lopez are out for the Bucks and our line is just barely Bucks -1 while the actual line is T-Wolves -1.
Nuggets @ Lakers - Denver is 7-2 in their last nine and dominant over LA. The Lakers have won six of their last ten even winning four of six on the road that included victories in Boston and New York.
Head to Head Advantages and More
Warriors @ Pacers - Indiana is 5-2 in the last seven but lost their last two at home against the Warriors, who are playing the second game of a back-to-back on the road.
Spurs @ Magic - San Antonio is actually 6-2 versus Orlando but the Magic have won two of the last three. The Spurs played in Miami last night and lost.
Timberwolves @ Bucks - Bucks are 8-2 in this series.
Jazz @ Suns - Phoenix is 8-2 against the Jazz and Utah is still not the best team on the road. Suns are -6.5 in this one. Some of the wins have been close, some have not. Our number is Phoenix 5.34 and the Suns have been pretty hot of late.
Nuggets @ Lakers - Denver is 6-0 in the last six games vs. the Lakers.
