The latest Shams bomb came yesterday, as he basically broke the news that the Sacramento Kings are expected to open up trade talks involving De’Aaron Fox ahead of next week’s Trade Deadline.
Fox has spent his entire career with the Kings and still has not signed a lucrative extension (which would be his third contract with the Kings) that was offered to him. He becomes an unrestricted free agent at the end of next season and it sounds like the Kings are resigned to losing him and are now proactive in trying to deal him.
