The day after the NBA Finals and the horrific injury to Tyrese Haliburton, the Atlanta Hawks were 150/1 to win the NBA Championship.

Today, the Atlanta Hawks sit at 25/1 to win the NBA Championship at BetOnline.ag.

They have made three moves (and that doesn’t even include the amazing trade with the Pelicans for next year’s draft) that are seemingly perfect compliments for the ever-disgruntled Trae Young.

Two above average shooters that can cover defensively for Young’s shortcomings in Kristaps Porzingis and Nickeil Alexander-Walker and one sniper that may be the best shooter in the world not named Curry in Luke Kennard.

The East is ripe for the taking and the Hawks have impressed the basketball illuminati and the oddsmakers as well.

  • Nuggets went from 16/1 to 9/1 after trade for Cam Johnson and signing of Bruce Brown
  • Clippers from 33/1 to 16/1.
  • Mavericks from 40/1 to 28/1.
  • Celtics from 16/1 to 33/1 after Holiday and KP trades.
  • Spurs from 20/1 to 40/1. Guessing that was due to thoughts of a potential Giannis trade.
  • Pacers from 16/1 to 50/1 after reality set in of no Haliburton for next year.
  • Bucks from 50/1 to 66/1.
  • Grizzlies from 66/1 to 125/1.
  • Heat from 50/1 to 200/1.
  • Pelicans from 150/1 to 250/1.
  • Suns from 150/1 to 300/1.
  • Bulls from 300/1 to 500/1.
  • Hornets and Wizards from 500/1 to 750/1.
