The NBA engine keeps churning!

These NBA Finals have been terrific, and, sadly at times overshadowed by other NBA news.

First was the Desmond Bane trade to Orlando. Then the Buss family selling majority ownership stake in the Lakers for a $10 billion valuation.

And today, on the day of Game 7, arguably the biggest trade piece was moved as Kevin Durant now goes to his fifth franchise, the Houston Rockets.

It’s crazy to think that Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, four first round picks and a pick swap for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the 10th overall pick and five future second round picks.

Relatively new owner Matt Ishbia has napalmed a franchise that was in the Finals as recently as 2021. The Suns will be on their fourth head coach in the last four years.

So, what does the KD trade mean for the odds over at BetOnline.ag?

The 2025-26 NBA Title lines have been up for a week or so now at BetOnline. Today, the Rockets odds went from 14/1 to win the title to 8/1, which makes them the second favorite behind OKC. Meanwhile, the Suns went from 80/1 to 150/1.
