Bet365 posted its prop bet rules following strong push back from gamblers Christmas night asking that Luka Doncic prop bets get canceled (voided) due to an injury suffered early in the game.

After losing Luka Doncic to a strained left calf, an injury that sources told ESPN could sideline the superstar for an extended period of time.

Doncic is expected to undergo an MRI on Thursday to determine the severity of his calf strain, sources said.

"It stings for sure for all of us," said Mavs co-star Kyrie Irving, who scored a game-high 39 points to give the Mavs a chance to win without Doncic. "Praying for Luka just to have a speedy recovery. However long the timetable is, we're going to have to adjust. It's just the nature of the business. Hopefully, he just takes his time and comes back when he's ready."

Bet365, to their credit, responded via Twitter to those asking about the Doncic prop bets, as well as Anthony Davis, who left his respective game with an ankle sprain.

"As Anthony Davis and Luka Doncic had seen court-time, bets will stand in line with his statistics and our rules: 'Relevant players must be dressed and see court-time for bets to have action (unless specified otherwise.'

They posted a direct link to their rules page related to player prop bets:

"All games must start on the scheduled date (local stadium time) for bets to have action. If a game venue is changed, bets already placed will stand providing the home team is still designated as such. If the home and away team for a listed game play the event at the away team venue then bets will stand providing the home team is still officially designated as such, otherwise bets will be deemed no action. For games scheduled to be played at a neutral venue, bets will stand irrespective of how we list the event.

"If a game is interrupted but subsequently resumed (from the point in the game at which it was interrupted) and played to a finish within 48 hours of the original scheduled game time, all bets will stand on the event.

"Otherwise if the game is resumed but not finished within 48 hours of the original scheduled game time, this will be treated as an abandonment and bets on the original event will be deemed no action, except for those bets the outcome of which had already been determined, prior to the initial interruption of the event.

"If a game is interrupted for any reason, and is replayed in full, this will be treated as an abandonment and bets on the original event will be deemed no action, except for those bets the outcome of which had already been determined, prior to the initial interruption of the event.

"There must be 5 minutes or less of scheduled game time left for bets to have action, unless the specific market outcome is already determined.

"For all games that are played as part of a two-legged tie; where the aggregate score is equal at the end of regulation time in the 2nd leg, overtime will be included to determine the outcome of 2nd leg game bets.

"In 2-Way markets Push rules apply unless otherwise stated below. The wager on straight bets is returned, and in parlays the selection is treated as a non-starter."
