NC State vs. Texas Tech Betting Preview

NC State finished the season on a five-game run following a rough patch of four straight losses.

DJ Horne scored 29 points, DJ Burns Jr. had 20, including the first 3-pointer of his college career, and NC State won the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament final, beating the Tar Heels 84-76 on Saturday night.

The Wolfpack became just the second team to win any conference tournament as a double-digit seed, 10th out of 15 teams, and the first to win the ACC's with five victories in as many days.

"Winning five games in five nights is a miracle," an emotional NC State coach Kevin Keatts said. "We've got to get some rest because, guess what, we're going to the NCAA tournament."

Texas Tech came into Selection Sunday ranked No. 25 in the nation.  They are a 6-seed in this first round game.

The Red Raiders finished the season winning four of their final five games, losing their last to mighty Houston.

Pop Isaacs notched 22 points (9-19 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 1-3 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals over 33 minutes during Thursday's 81-67 victory over BYU.

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
