Tom Emmer, Byron Donalds New Favorites to Be Named Speaker of the House

The latest update to the chaotic state of affairs in the House of Representatives is that Republicans will meet Monday to choose a new ‘Speaker Designate’ following Jim Jordan’s defeat and withdrawal.

SportsBetting.ag has listed nine candidates with respective odds to fill that position. There are essentially three favorites, according to the odds, while the other six members listed are "longshots."

Additionally, the ever-changing Speaker of the House odds have been updated with 25 names. Kevin Hern and Tom Emmer are now co-favorites. Patrick McHenry and Byron Donalds are close behind as the only other candidates with 5/1 odds or better.
