Vs. Seattle Seahawks

There's not a whole lot of desire to bet on either side here.  Neither was attracting a whole lot of money as of Monday afternoon and both New York and Seattle had nearly balanced action.  The line was moving to Seahawks -2 from a Pick'em.

The total for this game was drifting from 45 to 47 across the board with slightly more action on the Over.

Giants @ 49ers Lopsided Action

New York was a +10.5 road dog in San Francisco in Week 3.  75% of the action ($2.1 million) was on the San Francisco spread.  Unless sharp action suggested a Giants cover, oddsmakers would want to move this number up.

BetOnline moved from -9.5 to -10.5, Bookmaker mostly held at -10.5 all week, Bovada mostly held at -10.5 until the end.  A few books, including Bovada, briefly moved the number to 11 (Circa as well).

There was no opinion to indicate a sharp play and no frantic reaction in moving the line based on action coming in.

The betting public won here backing the 49ers.

Week 2 Giants @ Cardinals

The public was all over the Giants in this game, as much as 86% at one point before the line began moving up from -4 to -5 New York.  Bookmaker was holding the line between 4 and 4.5 with no urgency in moving the number up.  Even Bovada did not move to the 5 from 4.5.  When this one closed there was approximately $650K worth of action on the Giants spread.

The betting public won here backing the Giants.
