Week 16 of the 2025 NFL season will be remembered for a few things: an amazing and improbable Thursday night victory by the Seahawks, the Eagles becoming the first NFC East team to repeat in over 20 years and the Broncos winning streak being ended by the Jaguars.
Onto week 17, where there are three Christmas day games (which the NBA is not happy about) that looked a lot better on paper before the season started than they do today.
Additionally, the loser of the Giants/Raiders game could secure the first overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
If there’s a spread movement of one point or more compared to the lookahead lines that were released earlier this week, I’ve noted it underneath the current spread.
There has been a significant amount of line movement in a handful of games.

- Lookahead line was Commanders +3½. With the uncertainty of Mariota’s status, the line jumped.
- Detroit Lions at Minnesota Vikings (+5½)
- Lookahead line was Vikings +3½.
- Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs (+11½)
- Lookahead line was Chiefs +6.

- Houston Texans at Los Angeles Chargers (+1½)
- Lookahead line was Chargers +1½. After a dominating performance in Dallas and a less than dominating performance by the Texans, the line moved 2½ points and we have a new favorite.
- Baltimore Ravens at Green Bay Packers (OTB)
- Lookahead line was Packers -3½. With the Love concussion today, the line is currently off the board)
