For example, "Aaron Rodgers will go to the Steelers," "Aaron Rodgers will be a 49er," "Aaron Rodgers will go to the Raiders," "Aaron Rodgers should go to the Vikings," etc. were used in the study. More than 80,000 tweets were tracked in total.

As you can see from the map, the vast majority of NFL fans think Rodgers is headed to the Pittsburgh Steelers to replace Russell Wilson. There is also a large chunk of fans who want him to go to the Vikings. Some want this simply for the entertaining coincidence it would create, in that Brett Favre (whom Rodgers replaced in Green Bay) also went to the Jets, and then to the Minnesota Vikings.

Rodgers will certainly be looking to go to a contender, so Pittsburgh and Minnesota do make sense. The 49ers have also been linked to Rodgers since he is from that area, so it will be interesting to see what happens.
