Chris Oladokun total passing yards total prop bet came in at 149.5 while Bo Nix was listed with an over/under of 229.5.
Oladokun completed 11-of-16 passes for 111 yards in the Chiefs’ 26-9, Week 16 loss to the Titans, adding two rushes for seven yards.
From NBC Edge:
You are forgiven if you don’t know who this is. The Chiefs’ No. 3 quarterback, Oladokun was forced into action after Gardner Minshew joined Patrick Mahomes on the shelf with a knee injury. Like Mahomes, Minshew is also feared to have torn his ACL. Unlike Mahomes, Minshew confusingly tried to play through the issue for more than a quarter before finally admitting defeat. Injured on the opening series, he departed the following quarter. Playing without Rashee Rice, Oladokun lost 44 yards on four sacks, giving him a passing net of 67 yards. Don’t expect things to get much better in Week 17 against the Broncos, though Oladokun will at least know he’s playing this time. The major problem is, it’s a short-week Thursday night date with the Broncos’ elite defense. Avoid all Chiefs for the fantasy finals.
Nix completed 28-of-47 attempts for 352 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Broncos’ 34-20, Week 16 loss against the Jaguars, adding four rushes for 11 yards.
Nix’s yardage total was impressive, but much of it came with the Broncos trailing and picking their way down the field in a hugely pass-heavy game script (47 passes to 12 running back rushing attempts) against the pass-funnel Jaguars. Nix connected with Courtland Sutton for a first half touchdown and nearly hit Sutton for another score in the red zone. Nix targeted RJ Harvey five times for 71 yards and hit Troy Franklin for a long gain. Nix, with just one multi-touchdown game over his past six games, will be a usable 12-team league option next week against the Chiefs. He had 295 scoreless yards the last time he faced KC.
