Chiefs First Loss of 2024 Betting Odds

It doesn't happen often, but Patrick Mahomes loves to play the underdog role.

Mahomes and his Chiefs have won five straight games as an underdog (once this year in Week 7 at San Francisco), and he's 11-3 during his career as a dog (two losses came during his rookie season).

The last time the Chiefs lost as an underdog was during the 2022 season to the Buffalo Bills, who they face this week. They were 2.5-point dogs that day and lost 24-20, but would ultimately exact revenge in the one of the greatest playoff games ever (42-36 OT, Divisional Round).

BetOnline.ag opened Buffalo as a 2-point favorite against Kansas City for this week's matchup at Orchard Park. The spread has since moved to -2.5.

There are also odds for when the Chiefs will lose their first game, if they'll go undefeated and if they'll win the most games this season.

Finally, the calls for the firing of Mike McCarthy are deafening now, and even players like Micah Parsons are starting to take shots at the inept coach. Updated odds for his replacement are below.

Cowboys coach odds are subject to change and will be updated in real-time.
