NFL Comeback Player of the Year Odds Aaron Rodgers Favored
Last season, it was seemingly a foregone conclusion that Damar Hamlin would run away with the NFL Comeback Player of the Year.
And then a 39-year old Joe Flacco happened.
Hamlin was a -600 (1/6) favorite to win the award heading into the season. Heading into week 17, Hamlin was still a -275 (4/11) favorite.
Joe Flacco didn’t have odds to win the award until 12/12/23 at 16/1.
He only played in five games for the Cleveland Browns, but won four of them while average over 300 yards passing per game and 2.6 touchdowns per game (a total of 13).
Flacco eventually won the award, beating Hamlin 151 to 140 despite Hamlin having more first place votes (21) than Flacco (13).
This year’s NFL Comeback Player of the Year Award odds from BetOnline.ag is littered with players coming off injuries and players looking to resurrect their careers with a new team.
At the top of the list is none other than Aaron Rodgers. He’s followed by another player coming off an Achilles tear, Kirk Cousins.
