Since Tuesday January 7, there have been more changes in the Next NFL Head Coach odds released by BetOnline, as evidenced by the notes below and the accompanying odds for all six vacancies.

  • Bears: On January 7, Kingsbury was the favorite. Today it is Ben Johnson
  • Jags: Liam Coen remains the favorite after surpassing opening favorite, Ben Johnson.
  • Raiders: Mike Vrabel opens as the favorite. Probably due to relationship with Tom Brady. He is also the favorite for the
  • Patriots: These odds are very tight.
  • Patriots: Mike Vrabel remains a sizable favorite.
  • Jets: Aaron Glenn, who played eight years for the Jets, is now the favorite. Vrabel moved to fourth. This is by far the closest odds of all the openings.
  • Saints: Aaron Glenn has surpassed Joe Brady as the favorite here. Kellen Moore was added to the board and is now fourth.

Coen is currently set to help the Buccaneers in their Wild Card game against the Washington Commanders on Sunday night.  The Jaguars are not allowed to interview Coen until three days after the wildcard weekend's game, per NFL rules.

Coen became Tampa Bay's offensive coordinator ahead of this season following a few mostly successful years with the LA Rams as that team's assistant wide receivers coach and later the quarterbacks coach.
