Jerry Jones said he is "not considering" a coaching change for his beloved franchise at this point in the season.

Many believe that Jones' stubbornness is getting in the way of Dallas' on-field success in that he won't can the man he hired.

McCarthy's chances of being the second coach fired this season plummeted precipitously following the Cowboys' embarrassing home loss to Detroit on Sunday.

BetOnline.ag released updated firing odds Monday morning, and while the favorite remains the same, McCarthy has moved to second on the list.

Last week, after Robert Saleh was fired, McCarthy had 10/1 odds to be the next coach relieved of his duties. Now, he's listed with 4/1 odds, surpassing Nick Sirianni, Kevin Stefanski and Dennis Allen.

Doug Pederson remains the favorite, and a loss in London this week might be all she wrote for the Jags' head man.

Next coach fired odds are subject to change and will be updated in real-time at BetOnline.
