NFL Awards Lines After Week 8 2024...New Favorites Include Josh Allen for MVP, Quinn for COY and Cousins for CPOY
We will be updating the NFL Awards odds every week courtesy of BetOnline.ag.
There are three new favorites this week. Josh Allen for MVP, Dan Quinn for Coach of the Year and Kirk Cousins for Comeback Player of the Year.
Here are notes for each award along with some changes from the previous week.
- MVP
- Josh Allen is the new MVP favorite. Our third different favorite in the last three weeks.
- Jayden Daniels from 11th to fifth and from 28/1 to 14/1.
- Kirk Cousins from 66/1 to 33/1.
- Matthew Stafford from 200/1 to 100/1.
- Derrick Henry from 33/1 to 100/1
- Baker Mayfield and Caleb Williams from 55/1 to 125/1.
- Aaron Rodgers from 100/1 to 200/1.
- Defensive Player of the Year
- TJ Watt is a huge favorite.
- Danielle Hunter from 45/1 to 25/1
- Maxx Crosby from 25/1 to 50/1.
- Micah Parsons and Travon Walker are now off the board.
- Coach of the Year
- Dan Quinn is the new favorite.
- Kevin O’Connell from first to tied for fifth.
- Sean Payton from 14/1 to 6/1.
- Sean McVay from 100/1 to 33/1.
- Mike Macdonald from 16/1 to 40/1.
- Dennis Allen, Mike McCarthy, Mike McDaniel and Zac Taylor are now on the board.
- Offensive Rookie of the Year
- Jayden Daniels and Caleb Williams were close last week. After Daniels outplayed Williams on Sunday, Daniels has a massive lead.
- Caleb Williams from 21/20 (+105) to 15/2 (+750)
- Bo Nix from 40/1 to 11/1.
- Ladd McConkey from 200/1 to 100/1.
- Drake Maye from 40/1 to 100/1.
- Defensive Rookie of the Year
- Jared Verse is still the favorite and is now more than a scratch favorite at 5/8 (-160).
- Evan Williams is now on the board in fourth at 18/1.
- Andru Phillps and Tykee Smith are now on the board too.
- Dallas Turner (the preseason favorite) from 20/1 to 50/1.
- Johan Elliss, Junior Colson, Max Melton, and Mike Sainristil are now off the board.
- Comeback Player of the Year
- Kirk Cousins is the new favorite.
- Joe Burrow from first to tied for fifth.
- Initially the oddsmakers had non-injured players (like Joe Flacco winning the award last year) on the board. Then they removed Sam Darnold and a few others. This week they decided to put Darnold back up along with Jameis Winston as there is no guarantee the voters follow the preferred meaning of the award.
- Kyler Murray from sixth to second.
- Aaron Rodgers from 13/2 (+650) to 28/1.
- Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones are now off the board.
- Offensive Player of the Year
- Derrick Henry is still the favorite.
- CeeDee Lamb from 40/1 to 12/1.
- Jayden Daniels from 100/1 to 50/1.
- Kamara and St. Brown from 50/1 to 100/1.
- Tyreek Hill from 75/1 to 150/1.
