Titans vs. Bills Betting Preview October 20
The Titans vs. Bills line has climbed from Buffalo -7.5 to -9.5. Sagarin gives us a number of 7.78. This suggests we went from an accurate number to an overlay.
Joe Flacco threw two touchdown passes as the battered Colts beat the even more dismal Titans 20-17 last week.
The Titans (1-4) now have lost three straight to their division rival. They will have to wait until November to try and win their first home game this season for first-year coach Brian Callahan, who said he still thinks his team is better than its record.
“We also aren’t making enough plays to win tight games, and we’ve got to find a way to do that,” Callahan said of the Titans' third loss by a touchdown or less. "And I got to find a way to help us get there because right now, losing games in one-score games is tough.”
Tony Pollard put Tennessee up 17-10 with a 23-yard TD run on a drive that used up more than half of the third quarter. Flacco answered by driving the Colts to 10 straight points and the lead they never lost.
Tennessee comes into this game 1-4. They only covered the spread in the one game they were victorious in (vs. the Dolphins).

The Bills managed to pull off a three-point win against the Jets last week following two straight losses.
Josh Allen and the Bills overcame Aaron Rodgers' 52-yard Hail Mary touchdown throw as the first half ended to outlast the Jets 23-20 on Monday night and take early season control of the AFC East.
“Fighting through adversity, getting in at halftime, regrouping, saying let’s just control one play at a time,” Allen said. “We didn’t score as many points as I’d like in the second half, but found a way.”
Allen threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score and Tyler Bass made up for an earlier miss by kicking a go-ahead 22-yard field goal with 3:43 left to help the Bills (4-2) snap a two-game skid. They have never lost three straight with Allen starting at quarterback.
“It was a gritty win led by Josh,” coach Sean McDermott said.
