- The Edmonton Oilers have surpassed the Florida Panthers as the Stanley Cup favorites since initial release.
- These teams’ odds improved the most:
- Winnipeg from 25/1 to 18/1.
- Minnesota from 33/1 to 22/1.
- Calgary from 150/1 to 100/1.
- These teams’ odds got significantly longer:
- Nashville from 16/1 to 25/1.
- Detroit from 45/1 to 75/1.

- Atlantic Division: TB passed Boston. Florida lengthened their lead.
- Central Division: Winnipeg from fourth to second, Minnesota from fifth to third, Colorado from second to fourth, Nashville from third to fifth and Utah and STL flopped.
- Metropolitan Division: Carolina is the favorite switching first and third with New Jersey plus Washington from seventh to fourth.
- Pacific Division: The order is unchanged but Vegas has closed the gap significantly.
