NHL Stanley Cup, Conference, Division Odds Heading Into the 2024-2025 Season
The NHL season has a soft launch Friday October 4 with games this day and Saturday in Prague between the New Jersey Devils and Buffalo Sabres.
Then the season starts for everyone else on Tuesday October 8th.
On June 25th, BetOnline released 2024-25 Stanley Cup odds courtesy of BetOnline.ag.
A little over three months later and the puck is ready to drop once again.
Below are comparisons (with notes) of how the Stanley Cup, Conference and Divisional Lines have changed since they first opened.

I have put arrows next to each team’s current odds.
A down arrow (↓) means a team’s odds have improved since initial release.
An up arrow (↑) means a team’s odds have worsened since initial release.
The Edmonton Oilers have surpassed the Florida Panthers as the Stanley Cup favorites since initial release.
These teams’ odds improved the most:
New Jersey went from ninth at 20/1 to third at 10/1.
Nashville went from 35/1 to 16/1.
These teams’ odds got significantly longer:
Calgary from 66/1 to 150/1.
Columbus from 150/1 to 500/1.
