Curacao, Dutch Antilles, October 10, 2010 - The Cake Network, one of the industry’s leading online poker networks, is very pleased to introduce tournament blackjack to their growing list of gaming options on the network. This latest addition comes thanks to a recent partnership with 21GNET.

21GNET's provision of dynamic tournament blackjack software will allow partners on the Cake Network to expand their offering to include this new game. Tournament blackjack sees players compete, in a tournament format, against each other instead of the dealer. With tournament blackjack there is no house advantage as the dealer never wins, only the players.

“To say we're happy about this partnership is an understatement,” Stated Shane O’Connell Chief Executive Office of 21GNET. “Cake has been and continues to be an important player and industry leader, and we are thrilled to unite with them."

"The deal is a perfect fit for us, and equally beneficial for Cake,” O’Connel continued. “It gives 21Gnet an extended reach and more capacity, and gives Cake a great new form of entertainment to offer their players."

"We already know blackjack tournaments appeal to poker players. They get the game and the format, and most importantly they find it an entertaining transition from the poker tables. We understand poker players will always be poker players at heart, and will choose poker first....but, our goal has always been to push the concept of blackjack tournaments into the mainstream, to spearhead the introduction of tournament blackjack to the masses. This deal puts us one step closer to making that happen."

Cake Network Marketing Director, Andrew Turner shared similar sentiments about the potential value of offering 21GNET’s tournament blackjack across the network stating that, “Having such a well executed game system running across the Cake Network is a fantastic addition for Cake Network players as well as providing our partners with the opportunity for an additional game option and revenue stream.”
