In response to the scandal surrounding Brett Favre this week, online bookmaker BetUS.com has released odds on what will ultimately become of Favre and whether the scandal ultimately goes away.

Here’s a quick recap for those of you living under a rock these past couple of days:

On October 8, 2010, the NFL began investigating Favre for allegedly sexting and leaving lewd voice messages for Jets "Gameday host" Jenn Sterger during the 2008 season.  The investigation was in response to the voice mail recordings and photos posted by the website Deadspin the day before.  Sterger is said to be “weighing her options” in regard to cooperating with the league and authorities.

What follows is the odds on the Brett Favre scandal and whether Sterger’s accusations ultimately turn out to be true.  At 1/2 odds, BetUS.com has made “Yes” the favorite, though it’s hardly an overwhelming favorite.

The head coach search has become somewhat clouded in Jacksonville and Las Vegas considering one dismissed its GM yesterday and the other hired a GM on Wednesday. Both potentially open the door for Liam Coen should he not sign extension with the Bucs.
