Raiders vs. 49ers Line

The Raiders vs. 49ers line has opened at San Francisco -7 and moved down to -6 ½. The 49ers may be the most backed 0-5 team in the history of the NFL when it comes to betting.  After all, when was the last time we saw a winless team coming into Week 6 as a 7-point favorite?

All things considered, less than 70 percent of those betting this game were actually backing Oakland.

Niners Nation questioned the -6.5 point line.

Obviously wins and losses can often be explained away, but given the state of the 49ers, should they be favored against anybody?

The Raiders have a shot at going .500 next week after knocking off a team they haven’t beaten in years despite playing twice each season, the San Diego Chargers.

The last time San Francisco played Oakland during the regular season was back in 2006 at home, beating them 34-20.  At that time, San Francisco was just a -3 favorite.

Here is some good news for the 49ers:  Oakland is 0-8 Against The Spread when playing a team with a losing record. – Tyrone Black reporting
