Dead Man Charged With Running Illegal Lottery Scheme

Federal prosecutors have filed criminal charges against Herbert Daniels Sr. for taking bets on legitimate lottery numbers.  The problem:  Herbert Daniels Sr. is dead.

Daniels and his wife, Willie Mae Truvillion, were both named in the criminal complaint unsealed this past Wednesday. 

The U.S. attorney’s office is now aware of Daniel’s death and plan to drop the charges against him once official notification is obtained. 

As for his wife, Willie Mae is said to be “gravely ill” according to defense attorney Cyril Hall.

A son is also charged in the case.  – Gambling911.com Staff
