Every night, scores of railbirds descend on the high stakes tables at Full Tilt Poker hoping to watch some mind-numbing sized pots change hands. At any given time, poker fans are treated by the likes of Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan and Gus Hansen to name a few. However, this week it was revealed who the biggest winners and losers are so far in 2010 ad some of the names on the list may surprise you.
Top Full Tilt Poker Winners
The findings, released by HighStakesDB.com, show that the two biggest winners for the year so far are the two players currently doing battle in the second incarnation of the Durrrr Challenge, Tom “durrrr” Dwan and Daniel “jungleman12” Cates. Both players who are embroiled in the hotly contested matchup boast of over $4 million in earnings though the first three quarters of the year. To be exact, Dwan is up $4,028,872 while Cates is up $4,001,593, not too shabby for two individuals who are in their early 20s.
Interestingly, about a quarter of Cates’ winnings are a direct result of the Challenge as he leads by over $650 K after 7,660 hands played. Not surprisingly, 3rd on the winners’ list is Phil Ivey who has banked an impressive $3 million playing far less than anyone else on the list. In fact, no one has won more money since these statistics were first tracked in 2007, as he is up almost $19 million.

Top Losers at Full Tilt Poker
On the flip side are the year’s biggest losers, headlined by Brian Townsend who is down around $4 million. Next on the dubious list isGus Hansen and his $3.67 million in losses. In fact, despite being one of the more recognizable faces in poker, Hansen is seemingly living up to his reputation of being a fish as he is down $10 million since 2007.
