Curacao – October 21, 2010 – Online poker room Cake Poker is pleased to announce the addition of a new offering to their roster of online gaming, Cake Games. Cake Games will initially offer players two new card games: an online version of the classic card game WAR, “Cake WAR” and a tournament twist on the casino game of blackjack, Cake Tourney Blackjack.

Cake WAR is an online multiplayer game, inspired by the all-time classic card game, but now with a new adult twist. Each player starts the game with the same ten cards and is forced to out-think and out-guess his opponents to accumulate the most cards and ultimately, the most points to win the game.

Though the game itself is extremely simple, it offers its players amazing depth through strategy and bluffing while also allowing for dynamic interaction between players. Cake WAR is offered in two formats; Blitz WAR and Tactic WAR with both variants offering players options such as multi-table tournaments, sit n’ go’s and ring games. The game of WAR appeals to online poker players and gamers alike as it offers both groups the mental challenge and competition they thrive on with the added bonus of winning actual cash for their skills.

Cake Tourney Blackjack offers players the excitement of the popular casino game of blackjack, but in a more strategic tournament style. In tournament blackjack, there is no house advantage; players compete against each others’ chip stacks while drawing against the dealer. The object of the game is to have more chips than your opponents at the end of the tournament. It doesn’t matter how many hands a player wins as the winner is determined by which player has the most chips when the all rounds are complete. Cake Tourney Blackjack offers the thrill of traditional blackjack, and the social fun of multi-player gaming.

Cake card room manager Lee Jones notes, “Cake Poker is thrilled to offer players these two exciting, fast-paced card games through Cake Games. The fun and simplicity coupled with the strategy involved in both WAR and Tourney Blackjack make the perfect complement to the intensity of online poker”.
