The Arizona vs. Stanford spread has been sitting at Stanford -9.5 at most books with a few exceptions, most notably Diamond Sports International, which featured a line of -9.  Betting action on the spread was even while around 80 percent of those betting the money line liked Arizona U, which would pay out $28 for every $10 bet with an outright win.  The OVER 56 was getting 95 percent of the betting action in this game.

The Scouts Preview offers the following analysis of the Arizona vs. Stanford game:

(Nick) Foles could show some rust coming back from injury and that combined with the temptation to get (Matt) Scott involved in the offense could affect the timing and rhythm of the Arizona offense. Stanford will have no such issues, though, with an underrated rushing attack and the most talented pro-style quarterback in the nation under center. Luck and the rest of the Cardinal will play a cleaner game and come away with a quality home win.

Prediction: Cardinal 31, Wildcats 26

Below we have a few good stats to consider before betting on this game.

Stanford has covered in five of the last seven of this series.  They have done so as underdogs in the last three however.

The Wildcats are 8-3-1 ATS in their last 12 games as an underdog of 3.5-10.0 and 9-4 Against The Spread in the last 13 games as an underdog.  The Cardinal are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games as a favorite of 3.5-10.0.

The Cardinal are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games and are just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games as a home favorite.
