The 2010 Week 9 NFL Power Rankings from Gambling911.com are based on current odds being offered for the 2011 Super Bowl. All odds courtesy of SBG Global.
The number in the ( ) represents last week’s ranking.
Yet another demonstration of how no team has been able to maintain dominance this season so far, the New England Patriots replace the Pittsburgh Steelers as this week’s top ranked team, leaping an amazing 5 spots. They are the only team to have fewer than two losses in the NFL. The Pittsburgh Steelers move back to number two.
The Green Bay Packers appear to have hit their low point at number 8. This week, they move back up the rankings to number 6 and would pay out 9/1 odds should they win the 2011 Super Bowl.
Even though the 5-2 Indianapolis Colts beat Houston quite handily this past Monday night, they drop a few rankings from #4 to #7 and now pay $1000 for every $100 bet if they go on to win the 2011 Super Bowl. That’s some great value if you ask us.
There are no new entries in this week’s top 10.
*1 - New England Patriots (6) – The Patriots would pay out $750 for every $100 bet if they were to win the 2011 Super Bowl.
*2 – Pittsburgh Steelers (1) – The Steelers would pay +750 odds.
*3 – New York Jets (1) – The Jets now pay 8/1 odds if they win the 2011 Super Bowl.
*4 – Baltimore Ravens (3) – Baltimore pays 8/1 odds if they win the Super Bowl.
*5 – New York Giants (9) – Pays 8/1 odds.
*6 – Green Bay Packers (8) – Pay 9/1 odds.
*7 – Indianapolis Colts (4) – Pay $1000 on a $100 bet to win the 2011 Super Bowl.
*8 – Atlanta Falcons (7) – Pay 10/1 odds.
*9 – New Orleans Saints (6) – Pay 12/1 odds.
*10 – Tennessee Titans (10) – Pay 20/1 odds.
